Expect traffic slow downs for sewer work in Penticton
PENTICTON – Excavation work is scheduled for Lee Avenue and Skaha Lake Road in Penticton for the first three weeks of March.
City engineer Ian Chapman says the city’s contractor Grizzly Excavating will begin sewer installation on Skaha Lake Road in the vicinity of Yorkton Avenue and Lee Avenue.
The extensive work gets underway tomorrow, March 1 and will continue until March 20.
Chapman says the work is expected to result in some partial and full road closures and detours through the construction period.
Motorists are asked to follow signage, watch for the direction of traffic control persons and exercise caution in the vicinity of the excavation and construction activity.
