Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (15,274.98, up 77.16 points).

Aphria Inc. (TSX:APHA). Health care. Down $2.91, or 27.69 per cent, to $7.60 on 32.8 million shares.

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX:ACB). Health care. Down eight cents, or 1.05 per cent, to $7.52 on 16.9 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Up four cents, or 1.8 per cent, to $2.26 on 12.1 million shares.

Crescent Point Energy Corp. (TSX:CPG). Energy. Up 40 cents, or 10.15 per cent, to $4.34 on 8.1 million shares.

Cenovus Energy Inc. (TSX:CVE). Energy. Up $1.17, or 11.91 per cent, to $10.99 on 7.9 million shares.

Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Energy. Up 46 cents, or 5.14 per cent, to $9.41 on 7.4 million shares.

Aphria Inc. The cannabis producer’s shares plunged after short-sellers called the Canadian company a “black hole” and alleged that its recent international acquisitions totalling $280-million were “largely worthless.” Quintessential Capital Management and Hindenburg research alleged in a report published online Monday that the Leamington, Ont.-based pot grower had acquired foreign companies in countries including Jamaica, Argentina and Colombia at “vastly inflated” prices and in ways that it believes benefit a group of insiders.
