Lea Michele to release debut album next year, releases first single called ‘Cannonball’

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Thanks to her role on Fox’s “Glee,” Lea Michele is no stranger to recording music. Now she’s ready to launch her solo music career.

The 27-year-old will release her debut album, “Louder,” on March 4.

In a press release, Michele says the album is a reflection of her “experiences over this past year” and her “journey as an artist up to this point.”

The first single, “Cannonball,” written by Sia, is available for download.

On “Glee,” Michele plays Rachel Berry, a college student in New York City who dreams of becoming a famous Broadway star.
