Emergency crews respond to North Okanagan car crash

SPALLUMCHEEN – Emergency crews are responding to a car crash this morning just off Highway 97A.

RCMP spokesperson Const. Kelly Brett says officers are at the scene of a collision on Otter Lake Cross Road and Highway 97 A (at the off ramp). There is no word yet on any injuries.

“Emergency crews are working on scene and motorists are asked to slow down when travelling through the area,” Brett says.

Otter Lake Cross Road is closed in both directions, and Highway 97A traffic is not affected.
