Corrective to Nov. 4 story on cap for oil and gas emissions

OTTAWA — In a story published on Nov. 4 about the federal government’s draft regulations to cap emissions from the oil and gas sector, The Canadian Press erroneously reported that emissions from the sector fell seven per cent between 2019 and 2022. In fact the emissions fell four per cent in that time.
