Ryan Poehling scored the winner at 17:05 of the third period, and the Laval Rocket held on to beat the Belleville Senators 3-2 on Monday in American Hockey League action.
Poehling broke a 2-2 tie with a power-play goal with Cody Goloubef in the box serving a high-sticking minor.
Jordan Weal and Joel Teasdale also scored for the Rocket (8-4-1) while Poehling tacked on an assist for a two-point outing.
Cole Reindhart and Joseph LaBate supplied the goals for the Senators (2-8-0).
Cayden Primeau made 25 saves for Laval as Cedrick Andree stopped 21-of-24 shots for Belleville.
