SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. – A pilot in southern Saskatchewan who walked away from a crash landing of a small plane has been charged with impaired flying.
RCMP say a Cessna took off from a back road Tuesday evening near Swift Current, clipped some trees and crashed in a field about four kilometres west of the city.
The pilot and his one passenger suffered minor injuries.
Police say Calvin Pahl, the owner of the Cessna, is charged with impaired operation of a plane.
He has been released from custody and is to appear in Swift Current provincial court on June 27. (CKOM)
