Christmas hamper applications to be taken in November

Those who struggle through the Christmas season to provide food for their family can apply for a Salvation Army Christmas hamper. Each hamper comes with the fixings for a Christmas meal and gifts for children living at the recipient residence who are age 18 or under.

Booked appointments to apply take place November 4-15. To make an appointment call 250-765-3450.

Drop in appointments take place November 18-29, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army Community Life Centre, 200 Rutland Road south. Bring two pieces of I.D. for each adult, one piece of I.D. for children 18 and under, proof of residence, proof of rent and proof of household income.
