Rock slide slows traffic between Summerland and Peachland

SUMMERLAND – A significant rock slide on Highway 97 between Peachland and Summerland continues to slow traffic today.
Drive B.C. says a rock slide tumbled onto a roughly 1.6 kilometres stretch of the highway between Callan Road and North Beach Road last night.
The highway is open to single lane traffic today, Feb. 1.
Crews are on scene to assess the situation and start cleanup.
Drive B.C. plans to provide an update on the situation later today.
