Torex Gold Resources Inc. (TSX:TXG). Miner. Up four cents, or 2.45 per cent, to $1.67 on 4.9 million shares.
Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Life insurance. Down 29 cents, or 1.33 per cent, to $21.51 on 4.3 million shares.
Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Down five cents, or 0.20 per cent, to $25.04 on 3.8 million shares.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (TSX:VRX). Drugs, health-care products. Up $1.31 or 1.08 per cent at $122.26 on 298,739 shares. Quebec-based Valeant said after markets closed that it is extending the deadline for its more than US$50-billion hostile takeover bid for Botox maker Allergan (NYSE:AGN) until Dec. 31. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The deadline had been set to extend at 5 p.m. ET Friday.
