Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (TSX:VRX). Drugs, health-care products. Up $1.31 or 1.08 per cent at $122.26 on 298,739 shares. Quebec-based Valeant said after markets closed that it is extending the deadline for its more than US$50-billion hostile takeover bid for Botox maker Allergan (NYSE:AGN) until Dec. 31. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. The deadline had been set to extend at 5 p.m. ET Friday.
