MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens recalled forward Gabriel Dumont from the American Hockey League’s Hamilton Bulldogs on Tuesday.
The move comes after the Canadiens’ 3-2 win over the Dallas Stars in Montreal.
Dumont has 27 points (12 goals, 15 assists) and 54 penalty minutes in 40 games with Hamilton this season.
In 15 career NHL regular-season games with the Canadiens, the Ville Degelis, Que., native has three points (one goal, two assists) and 13 penalty minutes.
The 24-year-old Dumont was selected by the Canadiens in the fifth round (139th overall) of the 2009 NHL draft.
