KAMLOOPS – Police have a 19-year-old man in custody after following up on a report of a distraught male with a firearm this afternoon.

The incident occurred on the 1800 block of Tranquille around 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6.

Cpl. Cheryl Bush, a spokesperson for the Kamloops RCMP, says the investigation is ongoing because police did not locate a gun with the male.
