Kamloops RCMP have released a photo of someone related to an ongoing arson investigation with the hope someone recognizes him.
Police were called to a dumpster fire near the 100-block of Victoria Street West and Kamloops Fire Rescue put the blaze out around 2:25 a.m. on June 3, according to a press release from police.
There have been at least six fires in the downtown area, mostly dumpsters, over the last month. Police are trying to figure out whether the fires are related.
The person of interest is a man who was in the area around the time of the fire on June 3.
Anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the fires has been asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2025-17103.
