MEDICINE HAT — Yaroslav Bryzgalov had a goal and two assists as the Medicine Hat Tigers rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat the visiting Spokane Chiefs 3-2 in Western Hockey League action on Tuesday at Co-op Place.
Kyle Heger and Gavin Kor also scored for the Tigers (7-2-0-0), who trailed 1-0 after the first period but headed into the third tied 2-2. Veeti Vaisanen chipped in with two assists.
Cohen Harris and Elias Pul scored for the Chiefs (4-4-0-0), who were outshot 43-29 and went 0-for-3 on the power play. The Tigers were 0-for-3 with the man advantage as well.
Jordan Switzer stopped 27 of 29 shots for the Tigers, while Carter Esler stopped 30 of 33 shots for the Chiefs.
