iN NUMBERS: The weather that cut off travel from the Interior to Lower Mainland

Many British Columbians are dealing with flooding — again. Hundreds of homes are on evacuation order and alert and the Interior has been cut off from the Lower Mainland. The numbers are still changing, but here is what happened.

  • 101: Millimetres of precipitation came down on the Coquihalla Summit last night.
  • 110: Millimetres came down on the Fraser Valley.
  • 7: Highways closed in B.C. due to flooding. Some have reopened, but drivers have been advised not to drive to the Lower Mainland from the Southern Interior.
  • 1,016: Dollars was the price of some one-way plane tickets from Kelowna to Vancouver.
  • 12: Flooding emergencies have been declared in B.C. since Dec. 10.
  • 1: Travel advisory for the Fraser Valley, areas between the Interior and Lower Mainland.
  • 6.4: Millimetres came down on Kelowna yesterday.
  • 0: Millimetres were measured in Kamloops.
