Downtown Kelowna was packed with high-end vehicles and excited spectators on Saturday as the 2026 Okanagan Dream Rally raised money and created unforgettable memories for local children and families.
The charity event, organized by the August Family Foundation, brought car enthusiasts, community sponsors and supporters together outside Prospera Place before drivers and their young Co-Pilots set out for a scenic trip through West Kelowna to Peachland.
This year’s proceeds supported Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon and JoeAnna’s House, two organizations that help families remain close to their loved ones while children and other family members receive hospital care.
Children selected as Co-Pilots were paired with participating drivers and given the opportunity to ride in a wide range of exotic cars, luxury vehicles, classic models and specialty trucks. Some were joined by family members, while others took on the experience independently, with hearing protection available for the louder vehicles.

Before the rally began, crowds filled the streets around Prospera Place to see the vehicles up close, take photos and cheer on the Co-Pilots and drivers.
iNFOnews.ca was proud to support the Okanagan Dream Rally as an event sponsor and had a branded priority vehicle participating in the rally. The blue Porsche carrying iNFOnews.ca signage joined the lineup before heading out on the route with the other participating vehicles.

The rally offered plenty of excitement for car enthusiasts, but its greatest impact was the joy it created for the children taking part and the funds raised for organizations supporting families through challenging circumstances.
The Okanagan Dream Rally continues to demonstrate what can happen when local businesses, volunteers, drivers and residents come together for a meaningful community cause.
