The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian receiver Samuel Emilus to a two-year contract extension, the CFL club announced Wednesday.
Emilus was named the top Canadian of this year’s Grey Cup after he caught 10 passes for 108 yards in the Roughriders’ 25-17 win over the Montreal Alouettes.
The 28-year-old was also the Roughriders’ top receiver in the West Final, where he had nine receptions for 100 yards.
The six-foot, 200-pound receiver from Montreal played seven regular-season games in 2025, registering 588 yards with two touchdowns on 37 receptions.
Emilus was selected in the first round, seventh overall, of the 2022 CFL draft.
He has 204 receptions for 2,914 yards and 13 touchdowns over 57 career games with the Riders.
