iN VIDEO: Arts on the Avenue celebrates Visual Arts in downtown Kelowna

Artists and creatives were out showing off their work on Bernard St. Thursday evening. Festivals Kelowna put on the event, celebrating its 11th year, bringing a wide variety of art forms to downtown Kelowna. Vendors were performing, doing live demonstrations, and showing off their love and craft to interested shoppers and locals passing through.

Plenty of local businesses were still open for the event and sparked the interest of people who were originally going out for some dinner. Vice versa, people going to attend the event could grab a bite to eat after exploring what the festival had to offer.

Leatherworking, jewelry, paintings, metal statues, theatre productions, stained glass, and many more talented creatives were welcomed by the community. The event ran from 4 pm to 9 pm and was a great success this year, with many people talking with business owners and creative minds in the art community.
