It’s that time of year again for Penticton’s hottest summer festival, Peachfest!
One of BC’s longest-running and most renowned festivals that always brings plenty of fans from out of town and has been a well-known festival for many locals. Plenty of day-long events will be happening, including parades, competitions, games, arts, food, and the best part is that it’s completely free to participate! The daily concerts put on by the organizers always bring some great artists to Penticton with a good variety of different music genres. No tickets, no nosebleed seats, just wicked summer vibes and an awesome 2026 lineup to attend for free August 5 – 9.
This year, Peachfest is celebrating its 79th year running and is bringing plenty of big-name artists to end each evening across the 5-day festival with a live musical performance.

Starting on Wednesday night, headlining the evening is Bif Naked. Known for her chart-topping hits like “Spaceman” and “I Love Myself Today”. Beth Torbert is a Canadian singer-songwriter, punk rock musician, author, and motivational speaker known for her energetic performances and distinctive voice. Her resilience and outspoken personality make her an influential figure in Canadian rock music as she continues to perform, record, and support charitable causes across Canada and around the world.

Thursday evening closes with country-pop singer Madeline Merlo. Originally from Maple Ridge, BC. Known for her heartfelt lyrics and modern country sound, Madeline Merlo continues to establish herself as one of Canada’s leading voices in modern country music with hits such as “It Didn’t” and “Dear Me”. Madeline has won several CCMA awards, including the Rising Star award in 2015 and Musical Collaboration of the Year in 2025.

Friday evening, Peachfest will be hosting Tribute Night. Bringing 2 popular cover artists, including Runnin’ with the Devil, and Stage Fright. The two tribute bands are both based out of Alberta and will be rocking Van Halen and Def Leppard tunes for local fans to enjoy.

Saturday night welcomes the legendary Canadian rock band Trooper to the stage. Inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2023, the band was an early staple in Canadian rock history in the early 70’s. Known for their catchy songs, energetic performances, and unmistakable Canadian spirit. Formed in Vancouver, British Columbia, the band is well known across Canada for their great hits such as “Raise a Little Hell” and “We’re Here for a Good Time”.

Closing the festival on Sunday night is Faber Drive, a Canadian pop-rock band from Mission, BC. Having gained popularity in the mid-2000s with hits like “When I’m with you” and “Tongue Tied”. Faber Drive won Best New Hot Adult Contemporary Group of the Year for the Canadian Radio Music Awards in 2008 and has been nominated for Juno Awards.
