Olympic bronze medalist, Yannick Schwaller, will be out competing at the event. Yannick is a Swiss curler from Recherswil, Switzerland, and currently sits at the top of the leaderboards on the World Curling rankings.

Oscar Eriksson from Sweden will also be in attendance. Oscar was part of Niklas Edin’s world championship team and currently sits in 7th place on the leaderboards. Also competing at the event are Canadian teams Brendon Bottcher of Edmonton and Kevin Koe of Calgary. Representing Japan, Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi will also be in attendance and is currently part of Japan’s 2026 Winter Olympics team.

Local Teams Jim Cotter and Matt Tolley will be representing the Okanagan at the event.

If you aren’t familiar with curling, it is common for the team captain or “skip” to be the name of the team. The skip is the primary strategist in decision-making and usually throws the team’s last two stones in the game that can have the most impact on the final score.

Games take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with matches starting at 8:30 am, 12 pm, 3:30 pm, and 7 pm. Sunday wraps up the tournament with semifinals starting at 9 am and the championship final at 12:30 pm.

Tickets will be available at the door. $10 per game, $25 per day, and $100 for the whole event.
