Valley Markets returns to Sahali Mall with fall and winter shopping series

With the holiday shopping season approaching, Valley Markets is bringing local makers, bakers and small businesses together at Sahali Mall for a series of fall and winter markets in Kamloops.

The markets give shoppers an opportunity to browse a range of products in one place, from handmade items to baked goods and other locally offerings. Rather than visiting several stores, people can explore different stalls under one roof and discover items they might not come across during a regular shopping trip.

The event also gives local sellers a chance to introduce their products to the community. For small businesses and makers, markets can provide a way to connect directly with customers and share the work behind what they create.

Valley Markets is planning a changing lineup of vendors throughout the season, meaning each market may offer something different. Returning visitors can explore new stalls and products at later dates, while first-time shoppers can use the markets as an opportunity to discover local businesses.

Holding the markets indoors at Sahali Mall also gives visitors a comfortable place to shop as the weather gets colder, particularly for those looking for gifts or hoping to support independent vendors in the community.

The fall and winter series is presented by Valley Markets and will take place at Sahali Mall, located at 945 Columbia St. West.

The listed market dates are November 7, November 21, November 28, December 5, December 12, December 19 and December 20.

Market hours are 10 am to 3 pm, and admission is free. Individual vendors set their own prices.

Visitors can find updates through the Valley Markets Facebook page.
