275 new COVID-19 cases in Interior Health over weekend
COVID-19 cases in the Interior Health region averaged just under 100 cases a day over the weekend with a total of 275 new cases recorded.
There were 1,270 new cases in the province as a whole, with 502 recorded Saturday, 387 Sunday and 381 today, Nov. 15, according to a Ministry of Health news release.
Over the weekend, Fraser Health had 417 new cases, Northern Health had 274, there were 183 on Vancouver Island and 121 in Vancouver Coastal.
Another 16 people died, including two in Interior Health, bringing the death toll to 2,273.

There are 3,837 active cases, including 376 people in hospital, 116 of whom are in intensive care.
The vaccination rate for those over the age of 12 with at least one dose climbed slightly to 90.7% from 90.6% Friday. There are 86.8% of eligible B.C. residents who have two doses of vaccine.
