PENTICTON – This year’s Penticton Peach Festival will host a reunion for a well known Canadian band.
Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts are reuniting for the first time in two years to take to the stage at the 68th annual Peach Festival on Wednesday, August 5.
Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts haven’t performed together since 2013 when they played the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver.
The band’s first top ten hit album, “Something to Live For,” resulted in three hit singles and brought them a Juno Award. Four more albums and 20 single releases followed, three albums earning gold status.
The group disbanded in 1997 but Barney Bentall still gets together occasionally with the Legendary Hearts.
“It might be the only chance you have to see them together this year… or for several years,” said entertainment director Bill Kolter.
