TRENDING NOW: New ‘Lord of the Rings’ prequel teased with spine-tingling video

Amazon Studios is taking a gamble with its upcoming TV series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power set to begin streaming in September, 2022.

Legions of fans will be quick to judge the the prequel that will take place in Middle-earth thousands of years before the events in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and Peter Jackson's subsequent hugely successful movies.

The spine-tingling title video released by Amazon Prime Video has over 2.2 million views.
