UPDATE: SUV left precariously perched; car crash on Trans Canada in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS – A crash between two Alberta drivers held up traffic in the westbound lane of the Trans Canada east of the Peterson Creek Bridge in Kamloops during the morning commute.
Capt. Troy Grant with Kamloops Fire Rescue says a Ford SUV and a Jeep collided on Hwy 1 near the Yellowhead off-ramp after the driver of the Jeep pulled out to pass a semi and in doing so wound up in the Ford driver's lane.
The Ford wound up pressed between the Jeep and the concrete highway barrier around 8:10 a.m., April 24.
Grant says no passengers were transported to hospital.
“It was fortunate the truck didn’t get forced over the post or it would have been pretty serious," he says.

Ever since people were naive enough to buy the pet rock or watch wrestling, I knew the human race was in trouble. Everyday you run into drivers that just don’t pay attention.
some people should get there TESTS done again!
berta
Going up there should be three lanes, one for semi trucks only.
Many people do NOT check their blind spot when changing lanes, happened to me 2 times in the past month in Valleyview, and I had at that time babies in my car. Glad I knew what to do in a split second.
