VERNON – A 57-year-old man from the Armstrong-area died after crashing his car into a pair of parked cars and then smashing into a power pole on Saturday evening.
RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk says they were called to the crash, in the 2000-block of 42 Avenue in Easthill, around 9:05 p.m., on Friday, May 1.
The man was taken to Vernon Jubilee Hospital where he was pronounced dead, he says.
RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are looking into the cause of the crash.
“They are leaning strongly towards some medical issue,” Molendyk says.
