Using advances in artificial intelligence, companies are now producing devices that understand speech, cameras that recognize faces, cars that drive by themselves, and computers that identify patterns in huge databases of information.In the era of AI, the pace of change will continue to accelerate. Today’s children will face a never-ending stream of unknown, uncertain, and unpredictable situations. The key to success and happiness will be the ability to think and act creatively.InfoStudents will learn via Zoom. The instructor will have access to view their screens and help them with their code. Throughout the lesson, the instructor will explain how to do ONE specific thing at a time, for example, we will learn how to concatenate—merging & combining strings and then I will give several real examples- like how to print out a sentence from two separate variables “merged” together—for the students.Then, they will try on their own to do that ONE thing—for example, creating their own sentences with two variables in the same sentence.There will be a challenge combining everything learned in the course. Students will communicate with the instructor and each other via Zoom.We will take turns sharing our screens and our code.
