Ritz-Carlton looking to build luxury homes at Vernon’s Predator Ridge resort

Vernon’s Predator Ridge resort community is not only looking to build a gondola, the global luxury brand Ritz-Carlton is set to build vacation homes.

Wesbild Holdings, the company that owns Predator Ridge, announced today, May 9, the first The Ritz-Carlton Residences in western Canada will be built at the four-season resort home to distinct neighbourhoods of over 1,000 homes and a 36-hole championship level golf course.

“I’m incredibly proud of Predator Ridge’s initial vision and humble roots, but seeing the looks on The Ritz-Carlton executives’ faces when we toured them around our property and region was something I’ll never forget,” Brad Pelletier with Wesbild said in a media release.

“This is the ultimate testimonial for what we’ve become.”

Predator Ridge is 20 minutes south of downtown Vernon and 30 minutes north of Kelowna.

“We were saving the most compelling site to date, and when The Ritz-Carlton came into the picture, the stars aligned — right time, right site, right brand. We knew this piece of land deserved something special, and we’re glad we waited,” Gordon Karau with Predator Ridge said in the release.
