iN VIDEO: Corvette makes hasty U-turn in West Kelowna

The driver of a vintage Corvette pulled a risky, perhaps accidental, u-turn in a West Kelowna intersection that was caught on a dash camera yesterday.

A video of the maneuver at Hayman Road and Boucherie Road, not far off Highway 97, shows it happened at 4:50 p.m. yesterday, May 14.

The driver of the Corvette was on Boucherie waiting to turn left onto Hayman, but seemed to give it a bit too much gas but perhaps intentionally.

The vintage car appears to have come close to colliding with another vehicle that was waiting at the stop sign on Hayman Road, then the Corvette driver beat a hasty retreat over a median that had to leave a mark.
