Lane closures on Highway 97 in Kelowna

A car crash this afternoon has closed two lanes of Highway 97 in Kelowna.

RCMP say in a media release issued at 12:45 p.m., Aug. 29, it has closed two westbound lanes on Highway 97 between Banks Road and Powick Road.

The highway is down to one lane westbound until further notice.

RCMP are asking drivers to find an alternate route.

No word from police if anyone was hurt.

The crash is under investigation and RCMP are looking for dash cam footage.
