Motorhome fire blocked Highway 3, east of Osoyoos

A motorhome caught on fire this afternoon and caused the closure of Highway 3, east of Osoyoos.

The fire was first reported after 12 p.m. today, May 29. Images and videos posted to social media show a motorhome on fire.

The incident blocked traffic along the Crowsnest Highway at Eagle Point, according to Drive B.C.

The Osoyoos and Anarchist Mountain Fire Departments could not be immediately reached for comment but witnesses of the incident reported the highway has reopened.
