

Dine Around Okanagan is on – go eat!
The annual Dine Around event has begun.
Running from Jan. 15 to Feb. 2 and there are some amazing menus on offer for amazing price points all around the Okanagan. 50 restaurants are participating featuring a three-course menu for $15, $25, $35, $45 or $55 with suggested B.C. VQA wine pairings, B.C. Craft Beer pairings or spirits and cocktail pairings.
New for the event this year is the addition of Dine Around and Stay packages. Three Okanagan hotels including Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort, Eldorado Resort and Watermark Resort are all offering a stay and dine package through their restaurants. Event organizer, the BCRFA (B.C. Restaurant & Food Services Association) is also adding more incentive to the community to take in Dine Around by visiting participating restaurants Jan 15 to Feb. 2 you can enter to win $350 in restaurant gift cards by requesting a passport entry form, completing and leaving at the restaurant.
This event provides a fun and affordable opportunity to try something totally new – the options range from pub fare to fancy and from winery to café. Make a game of it and plot out your eating strategy around the Okanagan that includes a sleepover at one of the participating restaurant accommodations.

 KAMLOOPS: Atlas Steak + Fish
 $45 – $89 with wine pairings
 1st course:
 Tomato Bisque- served with Parmesan tulle, crème fraîche and chives
 or
 Wedge Salad- buttermilk blue cheese dressing, smoked grape tomatoes, pancetta crisp, crumbled blue cheese, and a rosemary spear
 recommended wine pairing: Sandhill Viognier
 2nd course:
 6oz Josper Grilled Beef Tenderloin- warm potato salad and chimichurri.
 recommended pairing: Black Sage Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2016
 or
 Josper Grilled Salmon Steak- warm potato salad and chimichurri
 recommended pairing: Sandhill Chardonnay 2017
 or
 Butternut Squash Risotto- roasted squash, pine nuts, sultanas, parmesan petals, caper brown butter

 Chocolate Torte- flourless chocolate torte served with a smoked orange wheel and fresh berries
