Kelowna’s Pizzamor’eH Is Making Frozen Pizza Famous
Pizzamor’eH is a company with a bold business plan. In the fall of 2025, owner-operator Dax Guest-Ross put an ambitious idea on the table: build the best frozen pizza company in Canada—full stop. It’s a lofty goal, but quickly becoming a reality. From day one, his team has been raising the bar with every pie.
Aiming for the Top of Canada’s Freezer Aisle
Pizzamor’eH’s pizzas are designed to be quick, bake-at-home meals that are top-tier gourmet pies—and the vision is catching on. What started several years ago as a small operation in West Kelowna, BC, with Dax and his mom making pizzas for friends and family, quickly turned into a blossoming business with impressive growth.
With each year of growth —refined recipes, creative toppings, and careful tweaks to their signature dough—Pizzamor’eH continues to win over fans. Now this steady evolution has sparked something in Dax’s mind: set a path to becoming number one. The goal is simple—focus on quality ingredients, create the best product possible, and build the best frozen pizza company in the country.
Creating a Partnership for Success
In the early days, Pizzamor’eH was a two-person show. As demand grew, Dax found himself being pulled away from the kitchen, spending more time sourcing vendors, managing logistics, and delivering products. Through persistence and long hours, the team gradually expanded—but scaling up required something more.
“In the last three months, Pizzamor’eH has doubled our business,” Dax says. “We needed to find a way to grow quickly, and fortunately we were able to partner with Valley Direct Foods.” The company, which specializes in residential and commercial food delivery, now handles Pizzamor’eH’s logistics—freeing Dax and his team to focus on what they do best.
The partnership with Valley Direct Foods also opens to door to residential delivery, making it easier than ever for customers to get their hands on Pizzamor’eH’s pizzas. Already available in dozens of B.C. locations, including Urban Fare, T-Bones, and Save-On-Foods, the brand continues to expand its reach.
For Dax, the shift is a welcome one. “Being hands-on in the kitchen is what I love most,” he says. “For a while, things were starting to feel pretty crazy. Now, with the support in place—and more hiring on the horizon—it feels great to get back to that.”

Raising the Bar on What Frozen Can Be
At Pizzamor’eH, great pizza starts with quality ingredients. “From the very beginning, we wanted to source the best possible ingredients, and use local products whenever we could,” Dax says. That philosophy still drives the company today—and it shows in the final product. And at the heart of every pizza is Pizzamor’eH’s signature dough: a whole wheat blend made using a specialized fermentation process.
“It’s essentially our take on a sourdough,” Dax explains. “The longer fermentation helps break down complex carbs, making it easier to digest, while also creating resistant starch.” The company is also committed to using organic flours with a high protein content (The After Bigg’eH has 80 % protein, the Backyard BBQ Chicken offers 78% protein, and the Hawai’eH has 68%. They also only use high fibre Zero seed oils, only Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and local organic white and whole wheat flour.

The result is a tangy, crispy crust that delivers on both flavour and function—less heaviness, less bloating, and a better overall eating experience. Their commitment to healthy local ingredients help ensure that you feel just as great after you eat their pizza as you do when you are eating it!
