Kelowna chef to compete on Top Chef Canada

Okanagan chef Brock Bowes will be competing on Season 8 of Top Chef Canada.

Bowes lives in Kelowna, and is the chef and co-owner of Provisions Kitchen at Kettle River Brewing, CrAsian Food Truck and BoxcAr Kitchen.

His previous experience includes working in kitchens around the world, such as Michelin-starred restaurant, St. John, in the United Kingdom, and La Maison Troisgros, in France.

In his audition video, Bowes says he isn't worried about competing against younger chefs. At 41, he's confident that his many years of experience in the kitchen put him above the rest.

The Season 8 will begin airing April 13 on The Food Network.
