Check out all your summer camps before you sign up

THOMPSON-OKANAGAN – A first-of-its-kind kid’s camp expo coming to a community near you is your chance to get a taste of all the fun activities available to keep your little ones busy all summer long.

Campapalooza is a chance to meet counsellors and see what all the great summer camps offer for toddlers to teens from Penticton to Kamloops.

There will be representatives from many of the leading day and overnight camps as well as some from various after school programs including sports, education, special needs and more.

Your first opportunity is at Okanagan College May 30 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Admission is just $2 with partial proceeds donated to Easter Seals Camp Winfield, which provides overnight summer camping experiences for children and teens with physical and/or mental disabilities.

A second date in Kamloops is set for June 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. but a venue has not yet been announced.

For more information visit the Campapalooza website or the Facebook page.
