
Driver killed in highway rollover west of Kamloops identified
KAMLOOPS – The man killed in a single-vehicle crash near Cherry Creek west of Kamloops this weekend has been identified.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was Jerrylee Lyle Terry, 33, of Lillooet, according to the B.C. Coroners Service.
The pickup truck flipped on its roof after it left the highway and collided with a rock face eight kilometres outside of Kamloops around 2:30 a.m., May 23. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Agency members closed the highway in both directions until shortly after 9 a.m. while they investigated the crash.
The B.C. Coroners Service and RCMP traffic services continue to investigate the death.
