The Kelowna RCMP is warning people about a sex offender who was recently released from custody.
Graham Daniel Dodge, 38, was released from custody on April 7 after serving a sentence for possession of child pornography and sexual interference, according to a press release from police.
Dodge has brown eyes and brown hair. He’s 5’6” and 181 lb. He is currently living in Kelowna.
He was initially incarcerated in 2024, then released on probation, which is still in effect until February 2027. After he was released, he was re-arrested for breaching his probation order and another investigation found that he was again in possession of child pornography.
He pleaded guilty and received a 37-month sentence, which ended up being time served.
Police said he poses a risk to adolescent males under 18 years old because of a pattern of re-offending.
His probation order requires him not to communicate or be in the presence of anyone under 18, he’s banned from public parks, swimming areas, community centres and anywhere people under 18 could be, like a playground or school.
He’s also not allowed to go online to any site where he would maintain a personal profile like social media or chat room.
Dodge has other probation conditions like keeping the peace, having good behaviour and not contacting any of his victims.
Anyone who sees Dodge breaching his probation has been asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
