
Kamloops gas prices lower than provincial and national averages
Kamloops drivers are getting a break at the pump paying about 10 cents less per litre than the provincial and national averages.
User-based online gas price registry, GasBuddy.com, reports an average cost of 121.4 cents per litre for regular gasoline in B.C. while the national average sits at about 120.9.
Most Kamloops gas stations are charging 109.9 according to the site. The price is low compared to towns and cities nearby.
Throughout the Interior, Vernon and Kelowna are seeing prices of about 119.9 cents per litre. Penticton drivers are paying about 123.9 at the pumps while Merritt’s lowest priced gas station is charging 124.9.
The lowest regular gas price reported on the site in B.C. in the last 36 hours was 108.9 cents per litre in Courtenay.
