Mushroom marriage as Highline Produce acquires All Seasons Mushrooms

LEAMINGTON, Ont. – Highline Produce Ltd. — the largest operator in the Canadian mushroom industry — says it has acquired All Seasons Mushrooms, one of the largest mushroom growers in Western Canada.

A purchase price was not disclosed.

All Seasons grows approximately 8.6 million kilograms of mushrooms per year at three facilities in British Columbia and one in Alberta.

Highline, founded in 1961 and based in Leamington, Ont., operates five facilities in Ontario and Quebec and sells about 26.3 million kilograms of mushrooms annually.

Highline says all nine locations will continue to operate as usual with approximately 1,400 employees across Canada.
