PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP hope the public can help locate a vintage pickup truck reported stolen earlier this week.
Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says the pickup truck was stolen from the Okanagan Marina parking lot on Marina Way in the early hours of Sept. 2.
Police are looking for a grey, custom built 1950 Chevrolet short box pickup with Alberta license plates BHP 5393.
The truck is in restored condition with chrome trim and chrome mag wheels. It also has a distinctive “chromeaholic” sticker posted in the back window of the cab.
Anyone with information about the theft or the vehicle’s location are asked to contact the Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
