PENTICTON – The Penticton Fire Department is offering fire extinguisher training to interested adults.
The 30-minute training provides a basic understanding of fire safety and the use and limitations of fire extinguishers.
The program fulfills the Worksafe B.C. regulations that require staff to understand how to operate fire safety equipment.
Training sessions will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7 and Thursday, Oct. 8, and participants can register to attend in these time slots:
• 8:30 – 9 a.m.
• 9 – 9:30 a.m.
• 9:30 – 10 a.m.
• 10 – 10:30 a.m.
• 10:30 – 11 a.m.
• 11 – 11:30 a.m.
Training will be held at Station 202 at 285 Dawson Ave.
The cost is $5 per person and groups can be accommodated.
Registrants are required to pay fees seven days prior to the course.
