OSOYOOS – A Penticton woman was arrested following an attempted theft at a B.C. Liquor Store in Osoyoos last week.
During the police investigation Tuesday, July 2, Mounties arrested a second person alleged to be waiting for the woman outside the store in a pickup truck stolen out of Kelowna.
Investigators also found items reported stolen from the Osoyoos Home Hardware and Home Building Centre inside the truck.
The man was released, but faces a potential charge of possession of a stolen truck. Further charges assocated with the stolen items may be recommended.
Jennifer Santos was charged with theft under $5,000 and appears for her second Penticton court date July 9.
