PARIS – The French president’s office says a French citizen who was kidnapped in Chad in March has been released.
The hostage, whose identity was not revealed, was abducted in eastern Chad on March 23 then taken to Sudan.
A short statement from the Elysee Palace said French president Francois Hollande “praises all those who were involved to give a happy ending to this abduction.”
