
Bernard Avenue at Richter Street closes for paving
KELOWNA – Consider taking an alternate route into downtown today. Bernard Avenue between Richter and St. Paul Street will be closed to traffic for its final paving.

The road should re-open to traffic by 5 p.m. tonight.
Expect more lane restrictions tomorrow, Friday June 14, as paving and line-marking continues at Bertram and St. Paul Street.
The City is reminding the public that sidewalks will remain open to pedestrians and it will be business as usual for local shops.
With the recent completion of Phase Two of the Bernard Avenue revitalization, the third and final phase of construction from Pandosy to St. Paul Street will launch this September, finishing off the $14 million project.
