Police say a 20-year-old man has been arrested on a murder charge as officers investigate the gunshot deaths of two teenagers whose bodies were found behind a grocery store near Atlanta.

Roswell police chief Rusty Grant said Jeffrey A. Hazelwood was arrested Wednesday in the deaths of 17-year-olds Natalie Henderson and Carter Davis on Aug. 1.

Det. Zachary Frommer says a delivery driver spotted the bodies of Henderson and Davis on the ground behind a Publix store. The Fulton County medical examiner said both were killed by bullets to the head.

Grant says police are unsure of the motive, but they believe Hazelwood acted alone. He’s being held at the Roswell Detention Center pending transfer to the Fulton County Jail.
