ST. PAUL, Minn. – In a story published Sept. 4 about a key water quality permit for a proposed PolyMet mine project in northern Minnesota, an Associated Press headline said the judge allowed the disputed project to proceed. The judge ruled that a state agency didn’t deviate from most of its rules when it issued the permit, but the mine project still faces several legal challenges.
