Capstone: 2Q Earnings Snapshot

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Capstone Mining Corp. (CSFFF) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $4.3 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had net income of 1 cent per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.

The base metals mining company posted revenue of $104.7 million in the period.

The company’s shares closed at 78 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 40 cents.
