HALIFAX – Jordan Dumais put away the winner with 38 seconds left to play as the Halifax Mooseheads edged the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 3-2 on Thursday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Dumais also assisted on David Lafrance’s game-tying goal earlier in the third period for Halifax (16-11-2). Robert Orr had the other Mooseheads’ goal in the second.
Mathis Rousseau made 39 saves for the win.
Cole Huckins and Hendrix Lapierre gave Acadie-Bathurst (14-11-3) a 2-1 lead heading into the second intermission.
Goalie Chad Arsenault stopped 25 shots for the Titan.
Halifax won despite not scoring on eight power plays and Acadie-Bathurst was 1 for 2 on the man advantage.
