TORONTO – Actress-filmmaker Sarah Polley, singer Petula Clark and author Michael Ondaatje are among the jury members for this year’s Glenn Gould Prize.
Music producer Bob Ezrin will chair the international jury, which also includes former governor general Adrienne Clarkson and soprano Deborah Voigt.
The jury is rounded out by tenor Jay Hunter Morris, Princess Julie of Luxembourg, pipa virtuoso Wu Man, and film and TV producer Martin Katz.
Organizers say the jury will meet in Toronto on April 12 and 13 to deliberate and select a laureate.
This is the 11th instalment of the biennial prize, which honours living laureates from a variety of creative disciplines for their body of work.
The winner, who will receive a cash prize, will be announced April 14.
Past laureates include Robert Lepage, Leonard Cohen and Oscar Peterson.
